Volunteering is an excellent way to share and receive life experience through hands on work. Volunteering can be fun, relaxing and energising.

It brings together a diverse range of people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Networking is an exciting benefit of volunteering and you can never tell who you will meet, what new information you will learn and what impact this could have on your life.

Other reasons to volunteer:
Volunteering actively promotes change
Learn or develop a new skill
Be part of your community
Motivation and a sense of achievement
Gain new interests and hobbies
Meet a diverse range of people

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation, without helpers we would achieve little. Not matter what your capabilities are, age, gender or background, we look forward to welcoming you into our Society.

The Whittlesea Agricultural Society seeks to educate, inform and entertain by bringing agriculture, farming, rural issues and way of life to the wider public. The Show is a showcase for food, farmers and a trading place for rural skills and crafts, ranging from vintage to modern showing you changing farming practices through machinery, animals and ways of life.

If you would like to join us please get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
