The Whittlesea Agricultural Society celebrates its 150th year in 2009 and we have for sale merchandise to commemorate this occasion. Please click here to view and order the merchandise.

The Show will commence at 12pm on Friday November 6. Events on the Friday are: D grade Showjumping classes at the showgrounds and a procession through the main street of Whittlesea featuring horse drawn vehicles, vintage engines, cars and machinery from the past, and a full bullock team.

Gala Night: Celebratory night which is open to all members, sponsors & friends of the Society.

A formal /lounge suit event held on Saturday Oct 24 at the Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre in South Morang commencing at 6pm. The evening program will include the formal speeches, unique entertainment, historical displays and memorabilia for sale. Price includes a 3 course meal and beverages. Tickets are $60 per head and are available now.

Horse drawn vehicles, the main means of transport for many years will be centre stage at the 2009 Show, plus ‘special classes’ in all areas with a hint of yesteryear will be included in the Schedule this year.

An display of historical photos, prize cards and other Show paraphernalia will be on view both days of the show. Commemorative merchandise will also be available for sale to the public.

A variety of unique attractions, a special Grand Parade and much, much more is also in the planning.
